Assets You Can Trade on BingX

Fees explained

As of September 2026, BingX charges a flat 0.1% on spot trades for both makers and takers, a rate it set on October 11, 2023 to replace an older band that ran from 0.08% to 0.16% (source: BingX spot trading fee announcement). There is no maker taker fee split at the base rate, so a resting limit order costs exactly what a market order costs. VIP tiers, keyed to 30-day volume or previous-day asset value, discount from there.

BingX's published fee schedule also sets currency conversion at 0.2%, and withdrawal fees are not fixed: the schedule says they are calculated by the system in real time from each token's gas fee, so the figure you see at withdrawal is the one you pay (source: BingX fee schedule).

Spot taker0.1%
Currency conversion0.2%

The schedule does not publish a card fee or a fiat deposit fee, so treat funding costs as unverified.

A cost estimate for a $500 purchase on BingX and Bitget appears here once the published fee schedules are verified.

History and ownership

BingX dates itself to 2018 and marks its history in public with sponsorships rather than filings. Its own timeline claims the first crypto copy-trading product in 2019, five million users by 2022, a Chelsea Football Club principal partnership from 2024, and 40 million users and a Scuderia Ferrari HP partnership in 2026 (source: BingX "Why Trust BingX" page, read September 2026). The site footer carries a 2018 to 2026 copyright.

None of that tells you who owns the company. BingX names no parent, no shareholders, and no financial regulator on its corporate pages, and it publishes no audited accounts. Sponsorship spending is evidence of a marketing budget, not of solvency or of regulatory standing, and the two are easy to confuse. If a regulated counterparty is what you are after, start from Exchanges available in Germany or Exchanges available in Japan instead, where the venues on the list answer to a named authority.

Products and markets

The spot list is very long. BingX's public market data endpoint returned 2,263 spot symbols in September 2026, of which 2,225 are quoted in Tether and 32 in USDC (source: BingX open API, spot symbols endpoint). That breadth is the platform's main draw for traders hunting newly listed tokens, and it is also the main reason to be careful, because thin books on obscure pairs produce slippage that dwarfs a 0.1% fee.

Beyond spot, the platform runs USDT-margined, coin-margined, and USDC-margined perpetual futures, standard futures aimed at less experienced users, grid and martingale trading bots, spot and futures copy trading, an event-contract product, and a set of traditional finance markets offering stocks, indices, metals, commodities, and foreign exchange with leverage advertised up to 1000x (source: BingX product navigation, read September 2026). There is also an Earn product, a loan product, and dual investment.

That is a wide surface for one account. If you came to buy bitcoin or a stablecoin and hold it, most of the platform is noise, and the leverage products carry liquidation risk that has nothing to do with the asset you wanted.

Security record and custody

BingX publishes a proof of reserves page showing reserve ratios by asset. In September 2026 it reported 142.74% for Bitcoin, 121.93% for Ethereum, 139.72% for Tether, and 122.41% for USDC, verified through a monthly Merkle tree that lets an individual user check their own balance is included (source: BingX 100% Proof of Reserves page). A proof of reserves snapshot of this kind is a real improvement on nothing at all, though it shows assets rather than liabilities and cannot rule out borrowed funds standing in for customer deposits at the moment of the snapshot.

The company also describes a three-tier hot, warm, and cold wallet model, multi-signature authorization on every withdrawal, address allowlisting and transaction limits, and a self-funded "Shield Fund" it puts at more than 150 million dollars. It says it holds PCI DSS 4.0.1 and ISO/IEC 27001 certifications (source: BingX "Why Trust BingX" page, read September 2026).

RampAtlas could not retrieve a primary BingX announcement about the hot wallet incident reported in September 2024, so no figure for it appears on this page. Treat the reserve ratios and the Shield Fund as company statements, and note that a self-funded reserve is not insurance and has no external administrator.

Deposits and withdrawals

BingX supports card purchases, peer-to-peer trading, and a fast-track fiat route, but its published fee schedule prices none of them. There is no card fee, no bank deposit fee, and no fiat withdrawal table that RampAtlas could confirm from a primary source.

MethodPublished fee

Bank depositNot published
Fiat withdrawalNot published
Crypto withdrawalPriced in real time from the token's gas fee

Crypto withdrawals are priced dynamically from each token's network fee at the time of the request, which is the same model most large venues now use. The practical advice is the same as everywhere: check the quoted network fee and the chain you are withdrawing on before you confirm, because sending Tether over one network can cost several dollars while another costs a fraction of a cent.

Support and usability

The apps are polished and the charting is competent, which is what you would expect from a platform spending at this level on brand. BingX runs a help centre, a beginner's guide, an academy, and 24-hour support, and it was early to copy trading, which remains the feature most retail users come for.

The flip side of 2,263 spot pairs and a 1000x traditional finance product is that the interface constantly offers you risk you did not ask for. Newer users should turn off what they are not using and treat the leaderboard of copy-trading accounts as advertising, since past performance of a trader tells you very little about the next month.

BingX suits an active trader who wants a very long token list, copy trading, and one flat 0.1% spot rate with no tier ladder to track. The proof-of-reserves page and the published security model put it ahead of the more opaque offshore venues.

Look elsewhere if you want a regulated counterparty, a fiat on-ramp you can price before you sign up, or a maker rebate for posting liquidity, since makers here pay exactly what takers pay. Anyone making a first purchase from a jurisdiction with licensed local options should compare those first at Compare and Buy Bitcoin.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Flat 0.1% on spot for makers and takers alike
  • No volume tier needed to get the headline rate

Cons

  • Makers pay the same as takers, so resting orders earn no discount
  • Currency conversion costs 0.2%

Guides

  • Crypto Estate Planning: Making Sure Your Coins Aren't Lost With You

Passing on cryptocurrency requires two things that an ordinary will does not provide on its own, a record of what exists and where, and a route by which the person inheriting it can reach the keys, because no court order can recover a seed phrase nobody wrote down.

  • Crypto Tax in Australia: CGT, Records, and the ATO

In Australia the Australian Taxation Office treats a crypto asset as a capital gains tax asset, so disposing of it by selling, swapping, or spending it is a CGT event, while tokens you receive from activities such as staking are treated as income when you receive them.

  • Crypto Tax in Canada: How the CRA Treats Cryptocurrency

In Canada a crypto disposal produces either a capital gain or business income, and where it is a capital gain the Income Tax Act makes one half of that gain taxable and adds it to your income for the year at your marginal rate.
