Fees explained

RampAtlas could not verify Bitkub's trading fees from a primary source as of September 2026. Bitkub publishes a cryptocurrency fee page and a trading fees article in its support center, but neither returns a readable rate table to an ordinary request, so we have no confirmed maker, taker, deposit, or withdrawal figure to publish.

Because of that, the fee estimate on this page shows a dash. Under our Methodology, an exchange with no confirmed cost data gets no cost score and cannot be presented as the cheapest option anywhere. That is a statement about our verification, not about Bitkub's pricing, which may well be competitive for Thai baht pairs.

If you are considering Bitkub, read the fee shown on the order ticket before you confirm a trade, check the baht withdrawal fee for your bank, and check the token and network withdrawal fee separately. Crypto withdrawal fees there are adjusted several times a day.

A cost estimate for a $500 purchase on Bitkub and Binance appears here once the published fee schedules are verified.

History and ownership

Bitkub is a Thai exchange built around baht-denominated order books. RampAtlas could not retrieve Bitkub's own corporate pages in September 2026, because the company's website returns a bot challenge to ordinary requests, and the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission's English pages were also unreachable from our infrastructure.

That leaves a gap this review will not paper over. Digital asset exchanges in Thailand operate under a licensing regime administered by the Thai SEC, and Bitkub operates domestically at scale, but RampAtlas has not confirmed the licence details, the licensed entity name, or the group's ownership structure from a primary source, and so states none of them as fact here. Where the record is unverified, our practice is to say so rather than to repeat what other sites report.

What is verifiable is the shape of the market Bitkub serves, and that is covered below.

Products and markets

Bitkub's public market data endpoint answers without a challenge, and it tells you most of what matters about the business. In September 2026 it returned 367 live markets, of which 357 are quoted in Thai baht and 10 in Tether (source: Bitkub public API, market ticker endpoint).

That ratio is the whole proposition. This is a domestic exchange built around a single local currency, with an order book in baht for essentially every asset it lists. For a Thai resident, that removes the currency conversion layer that a dollar-denominated offshore venue adds on the way in and again on the way out, and the saving there is often larger than any difference in headline trading fees. See Singapore and Buy Bitcoin for how regional alternatives compare.

The asset list at 357 baht pairs is long for a single-country exchange. Depth will vary sharply across it, so on smaller tokens expect the spread and the slippage on a market order to matter more than the commission.

Security record and custody

RampAtlas could not retrieve a proof-of-reserves page, a cold storage policy, an insurance disclosure, or a security certification from a primary Bitkub source in September 2026.

We also found no hack, insolvency, or enforcement action against Bitkub in any primary, court, or regulator source we were able to open. The Thai regulator's own site was not reachable from our infrastructure, so that search was incomplete, and this page states no incident either way. An enforcement action goes on a RampAtlas page only with a regulator or court document behind it, and that rule cuts against an exchange as often as it protects one.

On any cex, your balance is a claim on the company and the company holds the private key. Where the custody arrangements cannot be inspected, the sensible response is to keep on the exchange only what you are actively trading and to move longer-term holdings to self custody.

Deposits and withdrawals

Baht deposits and withdrawals run through Thai bank rails, which is the practical reason a domestic exchange exists. RampAtlas could not confirm the fee for either from a primary source, nor the per-token crypto withdrawal schedule.

Two things follow. First, price the round trip yourself before you commit a large amount: deposit a small sum, withdraw part of it, and note what each leg costs and how long it takes. Second, watch the crypto side separately, because withdrawal fees on many venues are repriced through the day against network conditions, and the number you saw yesterday is not the number you will pay today. Check the quote on the confirmation screen every time.

Support and usability

Bitkub runs a support centre with published articles, in Thai and English, and a mobile app that is the main way most of its customers trade. The interface is aimed at retail buyers rather than professional traders.

The usability finding RampAtlas can report directly is the one that shaped this review. Fee and support pages that will not load for a prospective customer are a real problem, not a technicality. Someone deciding between two exchanges should be able to read the rate card, the deposit terms, and the withdrawal schedule before creating an account, and here that is not possible from outside.

Bitkub fits a Thai resident who wants baht order books for a wide list of assets and a domestic app with local bank funding. On that specific job, 357 baht-quoted markets is a strong offer, and there is no realistic offshore substitute for local-currency rails.

Look elsewhere if you need to check costs and custody before you sign up, because RampAtlas could not confirm a single fee figure, a proof-of-reserves page, or a licence detail from a primary source. That is a verification gap rather than a finding against the company, but it means this exchange cannot be priced or scored on cost here. Compare what can be verified at Compare and Buy Tether.
